No haz mat over I - 90 to Seattle. Use Hwy. 520 W (exit 14 off 405)
West Seattle Freeway (exit 163 off I-5) is VERY narrow, no jersey barriers, sudden on ramps. USE WITH CAUTION!
Hwy. 202 is a useable truck route (if the logging & hay trucks can--you can!)
Hwy. 18 is the shortest route to Tacoma (2, sometimes 3, lanes)Note: upgraded in 2000
Hwy. 520 = no over wides on the 520 bridge between I-5 and I-405
If you're going from North Bend to any city south of Tacoma the shortest route is I-90 W > Hwy 18 W > Hwy 167 S > Hwy 512 W > I-5 S.....this will bring you out at MM #127 below Tacoma
Bellevue.....
Unless you have papers proving you are delivering in Bellevue you are
not allowed within 1/2 mile of the city limits!!! Of course this does not
apply to your use of I-405 which runs right through the middle of
Bellevue. No over night parking on the streets ...you'll get a ticket.
Redmond...the main drag through town is one-way. Enter from the end you're delivering to. Check the map to make sure.
Prime time traffic is 6 am - 8 am and 3:30 pm - 6:30 pm

Snoqualmie falls is about 8 miles away (if you're going bob tail...take the driveway below the shop, turn right, go to "the" light, turn right and go for about 5 miles) If you're taking the tractor and trailer....take exit #31 off I-90 W, at end of ramp go west on Hwy 202 (that's what you come off onto) and just keep on it for about 6 miles.
Mt. Si is the mountain behind the truck stop (also known as Twin Peaks)
There is a hiking trail up Mt. St. From the top you can see all of Seattle, the Space Needle, Mt. Rainier. It's a 4 mile hike up a switch back trail. The top is 1,000 ft. higher than the summit of Snoqualmie Pass.
Plenty of places to swim close to the truck stop...ask for directions.
Snoqualmie Valley is the home of many movies including the series "Twin Peaks" and "The Vanishing"
No laundry facilities on the property because they don't have city water or sewer and are running on a well and septic system. They do have a laundry service. The lady will pick up / launder /fold and return your laundry for $1.00 lb. (Not sure if TA allows this any more)
Chapel open daily. Sunday services will be announced.
CAT scale is 13' 11" wide between the yellow pillars and 15' 4" wide between the black posts.

Bar-B-Q area, by the fuel islands is for the drivers' use. Please keep it clean.
Showers are large enough for 2 people.

Over size permits are available only at the ports of entry or the D.O.T.
Trailers, with approval, can be dropped in any regular parking space.
Air hose is on the west side of the shop.

Avoid exit #167 on I-5 if possible! It's narrow and you have no room to swing.
If you use the Montlake exit off Hwy. 520..stay out of the far right lane..your trailer top will rub.
